Grilled Pork Chops with Garlic Rub
Ingredients:
- bone-in pork loin chops, 3/4-inch thick - 4
- garlic cloves, peeled - 2
- fresh basil leaves, packed - 1 cup
- fresh lemon juice - 2 T
- extra virgin olive oil - 2 T
- coarse salt - 1 t
- freshly ground black pepper - 1/2 t
Instructions:
With food processor running, add garlic through feed tube and mince. Add basil, process. Add lemon juice, oil, salt and pepper, process to a thin wet rub. Spread mixture on both sides of chops; set aside for 15 - 30 minutes.
Heat grill to medium hot, brush oil on grate. Place chops, over direct heat, turning once, 5 - 6 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 145°F. Place on serving plate, cover and let rest for 3 minutes.
