3 c Bisquick Mix
1 c cornmeal
2 c water
1 egg
1/3 c sugar
1/3 c honey
1 t baking powder
hot dog wieners
oil for frying
Cut wieners into fourths, set aside.
In a bowl mix together Bisquick, cornmeal, egg and water.
Stir in sugar, honey and baking powder. Batter should be a medium consistency.
Heat oil to 350 degrees. Dip the wieners into the batter. Slowly place dipped corndogs into oil so it doesn’t splatter. Turn the corndogs for even browning. Fry about 3 minutes, drain on paper towels.
Serve with ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, etc
For regular size corn dogs; insert a wooden skewer into the wiener.
Little smokies or precooked sausage links can also be used.
