3 pound chuck roast
1 ounce packet dry ranch seasoning mix
1 ounce packet dry au jus gravy mix
6 T butter (do not cube)
¼ c water
5-6 pepperoncini
In a slow cooker add the following ingredients in order given – water, roast, sprinkle ranch seasoning and au jus mix over roast, place butter on top of roast and add pepperoncini around the butter.
Cook on low for 8 hours.
Shred and serve with gravy. Serve with mashed potatoes and vegetables, on rice or as a sandwich.
