Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients:
- butter - 1/4 c
- mushrooms, sliced - 1/2 pound
- soy sauce - 1 t
- heavy cream - 3/4 c
- Dijon mustard - 1 T
- paprika - dash
- fresh parsley, chopped - 1 T
- salt and pepper - to desired taste
Instructions:
In a skillet melt butter, add mushrooms saute until tender. Stir in soy sauce, cream and mustard. Bring to a slow boil on medium heat; cook until sauce has thickened, stir frequently. Add paprika and parsley; season to taste. Serve over chicken, hamburger, steak, potatoes, etc.
