Onion Mustard Dip or Spread
Ingredients:
- butter - 2 T
- yellow onion, diced - 1
- Kosher salt - sprinkle
- brown sugar - 1/4 cup
- dijon mustard - 8 ounces
Instructions:
Melt butter in a saute pan, over medium heat. Add onion and salt. Sweat onion for 20 minutes until very soft and slightly golden. Combine mustard, brown sugar and onion in a food processer. Puree on high until well combined. Serve mustard with hot pretzels or a topping for burgers, hot dogs, cold meat sandwiches, etc.
