Oven Barbeque Ribs
Ingredients:
- brown sugar - 1/4 cup
- onion powder - 1 T
- ground cumin - 1 tsp
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- smoked paprika - 1 tsp
- cayenne pepper - 1/4 tsp
- salt and pepper - to desired taste
- baby back ribs - 2 slabs
- barbecue sauce, your favorite - to desired amount
Instructions:
Season ribs with salt and pepper. Place ribs on foil lined baking sheet.
In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, onion powder, ground cumin, ground chili powder, smoked paprika and cayenne. Rub spice blend over ribs. Let ribs sit at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Bake in a preheated 300 degree oven for 1 1/2 - 2 hours, until meat is tender and easily separates from the bone. Brush ribs with barbecue sauce. Place ribs under the broiler, broil until desired amount of crisping.
Serve immediately.
