Caramel Brownie Pie
Ingredients:
- sugar - 1 cup
- flour - 1/2 cup
- cocoa powder - 1/3 cup
- salt - 1/4 t
- baking powder - 1/4 t
- eggs - 2
- vegetable oil OR canola oil - 1/2 cup
- vanilla - 1/2 t
- semisweet chocolate chips, melted - 1/3 cup
- chocolate chunks - 1 cup
- salted caramel chocolates - 1/2 package (12 - 14 individual pieces)
- salted caramel sauce - 1/4 cup plus more for garnish
Instructions:
In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients. Stir in eggs, oil and vanilla until incorporated. Stir in melted chips; add chocolate chunks. Pour half of the batter into a greased 9 inch round baking pan, place caramel chocolates on top. Evenly spread remaining batter over carmels; drizzle 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce over top.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 35 - 40 minutes or until pie is set. Cool for 15 minutes, drizzle additional caramel sauce over top.
