Fudge Brownie Pie
Ingredients:
- flour - 3/4 cup
- sugar - 1 cup
- unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted - 1/4 cup
- baking powder - 1 t
- salt - 1/4 t
- butter, softened - 4 ounces
- eggs, beaten - 2
- vanilla - 2 t
- chopped toasted pecans - 1/2 cup
- mini marshmallows - 2 handfuls
- butter, melted - 1/4 cup
- cocoa powder - 1/4 cup
- evaporated milk - 1/4 cup
- powdered sugar - 1 cup
Instructions:
In a bowl whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. In another bowl beat butter, eggs and vanilla together. Add to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth. Stir in nuts. Pour into a buttered 9 inch spring form pan.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 25 - 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Immediately sprinkle marshmallows over top, return to oven for a few minutes to melt the marshmallows. Remove from oven and spread frosting over top.
Prepare frosting -- in a bowl mix together 1/4 c melted butter, 1/4 c cocoa, milk and powdered sugar until smooth and thick. Carefully spread over the hot marshmallows. Cool completely before cutting.
