Marble Cheesecake Pie
Ingredients:
- chocolate wafers, crushed - 1 1/2 cups
- butter, melted - 1/3 cup
- whipping cream - 3/4 cup for filling, divided
- bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped - 4 ounces for filling
- cream cheese, softened - 12 ounces
- sweetened condensed milk - 1/3 cup
- vanilla - 1 t
- whipping cream - 3/4 cup for topping
- bittersweet chocolate finely chopped - 1 ounce for toppint
Instructions:
Prepare crust -- melt butter in pie pan, add crumbs and toss to moisten; press into bottom and sides of a 9 inch pie pan. Place in refrigerator until firm, about 30 minutes.
Prepare filling -- place chocolate in heatproof bowl. In small saucepan, heat 1/2 cup cream just until boiling; pour over chocolate, whisk until melted; let cool slightly.
In second bowl, beat cream cheese, 1/4 cup cream, condensed milk and vanilla until smooth; spoon randomly into prepared crust. Pour chocolate mixture into gaps. With a knife, swirl mixtures together roughly. Tap pan on counter to smooth top. Cover, place in refrigerator until firm, 4 hours.
In a cold bowl, whip 3/4 cup cream. Spoon dollops or pipe rosettes of whipped cream around the edge of the pie. Sprinkle 1 ounce chopped chocolate over whipped cream.
