Sundae Pie
Ingredients:
- Oreo cookies, finely crushed - 15
- butter, melted - 3 T
- Cool Whip thawed, divided - 8 ounces
- vanilla instant pudding - 1 package (3.4 ounce)
- milk - 1 c
- semi sweet chocolate, melted - 2 ounces
- sweetened condensed milk - 1/3 c
Instructions:
Mix together cookie crumbs and butter; press onto bottom and the side of 9 inch pie plate. Reserve 1/2 c Cool Whip. Place in refrigerator until ready to use.
In a bowl whisk together pudding mix and milk for 2 minutes. Stir in remaining Cool Whip; spoon into crust. Mix melted chocolate and condensed milk; spoon over pie. Gently swirl with knife.
Place in the freezer for 6 hours or until firm. Remove from freezer 15 minutes before serving to soften slightly. Dollop reserved cool whip around the edge. If desired garnish with maraschino cherries and chopped nuts.
