Walnut Chocolate Pie
Ingredients:
- pie crust - 2 - 9 inch
- semi sweet high quality chocolate, chopped - 12 ounces
- walnuts halves - 12 ounces
- sugar - 1 cup
- flour - 1 cup
- eggs - 5
- light corn syrup - 1 cup
Instructions:
Divide the chocolate and walnuts between the 2 pie shells. In a bowl, slightly whisk the eggs, add sugar, flour and corn syrup, whisk. Slowly pour mixture over the nuts and chocolate.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 40 minutes or until browned and set.
Cool before slicing, serve warm or at room temperature with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream. Garnish with chocolate curls.
