4 slices bacon
1 quart water
16 ounce package frozen green peas
1/3 c chopped onions
1/2 c Ranch dressing
1/2 c shredded Cheddar cheese
Cook bacon until evenly brown, drain, crumble; set aside.
In a saucepan bring water to a boil, add peas cook for 1 minute, until just tender; drain. Cool peas under cold running water.
In a bowl, toss together all ingredients. Cover and place in refrigerator. Serve chilled.
