BLT Chicken Braid
Ingredients:
- cooked chopped chicken - 1 cup
- shredded cheddar cheese - 1 1/2 cups
- crumbled cooked bacon - 3/4 cup
- mayonnaise - 3/4 cup
- refrugerated crescent rolls - 8 ounce tube
- chopped lettuce - garnish
- chopped tomatoes - garnish
Instructions:
In a bowl, stir together chicken, cheese, bacon and mayonnaise; set aside.
Lay crescent dough on a non stick baking sheet; press together all the seams. Cut small strips 1 1/2 inches apart along both sides. Leave a 3 inch strip in the center uncut. Spread chicken mixture evenly down the center. Cross the strips over each other in a braid pattern. Press ends together.
Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 20 minutes. Garnish top with lettuce and tomato. Cut into 8 pieces, serve.
