Cheesy Taco Buns
Ingredients:
- refrigerated biscuits - 1 tube
- ground beef - 1 pound
- taco seasoning - 1 packet
- salsa - 1/2 cup
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 cup
- cream cheese, room temperature - 8 ounces
- butter, melted - 4 T
Instructions:
In a skillet, brown ground beef and crumble, drain fat. Add taco seasoning and prepare as directed on packet. In a bowl, blend cream cheese and salsa until smooth.
Roll out biscuits so they are flat and somewhat thin. Spread 1 T cream cheese mixture onto each biscuit, add a spoonful of taco meat on top of cream cheese mixture.
Top with cheese. Seal edges and place on greased cookie sheet. Repeat with remaining biscuits. Brush tops of biscuits with melted butter.
Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 13 - 16 minutes, until tops are lightly browned.
