Grilled Cheese Pull-Aparts
Ingredients:
- refrigerated crusty French Loaf - 1 can
- cheddar cheese, cut into 18 pieces - 8 ounces
- butter, melted - 1/3 cup
- garlic herb bread crumbs - 2 T
Instructions:
Grease a 8-inch square pan; set aside. Cut dough into 18 - 1/2 inch thick slices. Gently stretch and flatten each piece of dough; wrap dough around a piece of cheese, making sure to seal cheese completely inside dough. Repeat with remaining dough and cheese. Dip each wrapped cheese in melted butter; very lightly coat with bread crumbs. (Do not use too many bread crumbs, just enough for a little texture and flavor.) Place wrapped cheese in pan.
Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes, until tops are golden brown and center rolls are no longer doughy. Serve warm bread with your favorite hot soup - tomato basil, chili, etc.
