Hawaiian Grilled Cheese
Ingredients:
- sandwich bread - 8 slices
- butter -
- pineapple - 1/4 c
- pepperoni slices - 1/4 c
- jalapenos, sliced (seeds & ribs removed as desired) - 2 small
- mozzarella cheese, sliced or shredded - 8 ounces
- pizza sauce - 1/4 c
Instructions:
Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place butter side down in the skillet. Layer in order on bread 2 slices cheese, thin layer of pizza sauce, 5 - 6 pepperoni, 7 - 8 pieces of pineapple and jalapeno slices, a little more sauce, 2 slices cheese and top with another slice of bread, butter side up.
Cook for 3 minutes or until bread has browned and cheese begins to melt. Carefully flip sandwich over and cook 3 - 4 minutes until bread is toasted and cheese is melted. Remove from the pan. Repeat with remaining bread and filling; serve hot.
