Loaded Nacho Grilled Cheese
Ingredients:
- French Bread - 2 slices
- sour cream - 1 T
- salsa - 2 T
- Tex Mex Cheese - 2 slices
- ground beef, cooked - 2 - 3 T
- Taco seasoning - 1/8 T
- green onion stalk, chopped - 1
- cilantro leaves - 4 - 5
- tomato slice - 1
- avocado, diced - 1/4
- black olives, chopped - 1 - 2
- black beans - 1 T
- jalapeno pepper, chopped - 1 - 2 slices
- nacho flavored Doritos, crumbled - 1 - 2 handfuls
- egg, beaten - 1
- butter - for frying
Instructions:
Place crushed Doritos on a plate, dip one side of each slice of bread in the egg; then into the Doritos. Assemble sandwich, spread sour cream on one slice of bread and salsa on the other slice of bread. Place a layer of cheese on the bottom slice, layer with ground beef, taco seasoning, onion, cilantro, tomato, avocado, olives, beans and jalapeno, finish with a slice of cheese and top with the second slice of bread.
Melt some butter in a skillet over medium heat, add sandwich, cook each side until browned and cheese is melting. Cover pan with a lid while cooking to help the cheese melt. If desired serve with sour cream, salsa and guacamole for dipping. Yields 1 sandwich.
