Beth’s Caramel Corn
Ingredients:
- popped popcorn - 5 - 6 quarts
- white Karo corn syrup - 1/2 cup
- brown sugar - 2 cups
- margarine - 1 cup
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- butter flavoring - 1 tsp
Instructions:
Place popped popcorn in a large roaster or large baking pan; set aside.
In a large pan, add brown sugar, Karo and margarine, boil for 5 minutes. Remove from store, stir in baking soda and butter flavoring.
Pour mixture over popcorn, mix well. Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes. Let cool before eating.
