Spicy Cheddar Popcorn
Ingredients:
- olive oil - 1/4 cup
- popcorn kernals - 1/2 cup
- butter - 4 T
- salted, roasted pumpkin seeds - 1 cup
- finely shredded, sharp white cheddar cheese - 1 1/2 cups
- poppy seeds - 2 tsp
- onion powder - 1/2 tsp
- cayenne pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Kosher salt - to desired taste
Instructions:
In a large heavy pot, heat olive oil over medium heat; add popcorn kernels; cover the pot with a lid. Cook the popcorn per package directions.
While kernals are popping, melt the butter, when the popcorn is done, (remove any unpopped keernals) immediately drizzle butter over popcorn; toss to coat. Add remaining ingredients to the popcorn, gently toss to evenly coat.
Season with Kosher salt. Serve immediately.
