Butter Pecan Sauce
Ingredients:
- brown sugar - 1/2 c plus 2 T
- sugar - 2 T
- cornstarch - 4 t
- whipping cream - 3/4 c
- margarine - 1 T
- chopped pecans, toasted - 1/2 c
Instructions:
In heavy sauce pan combine brown sugar, sugar, cornstarch, gradually stir in cream. Bring to boil over medium heat stirring constantly. Cook and stir 2 - 3 minutes till slightly thickened. Remove from heat stir in margarine till melted stir in pecans.
Serve warm over ice cream.
