Peach Syrup or Topping
Ingredients:
- sliced peaches - 29 ounce can
- water, divided - 1 1/4 c
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 t
- corn starch - 2 T
Instructions:
In saucepan combine 1 cup water, brown sugar and cinnamon. Bring to boil. Stir corn starch into 1/4 c water. Pour into boiling sugar water and stir till boiling. Remove fron heat.
Place peaches and juice into blender and blend till smooth. Add to syrup mixture and stir well. Serve on pancakes, waffles, french toast, pound cake, etc.
