Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients:
- chicken broth - 2 quarts
- potatoes, peeled, quartered - 5 pounds
- garlic, chopped - 5 cloves
- heavy cream - 1 cup
- sour cream - 1/2 cup
- chopped fresh chives - 3 T
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter, melted - 1/4 cup
Instructions:
In a saucepan, bring broth to a boil; add potatoes; cook until tender firm, about 15 minutes; drain, reserve broth.
Stir in garlic, cream and 1 - 2 T broth; mash until creamy. Blend in sour cream, chives, salt and butter.
Heat and serve.
