Green Bean Casserole
Ingredients:
- butter - 2 T
- flour - 2 T
- salt - 1 t
- white vinegar - 1 t
- onion, diced - 1/4 cup
- sour cream - 1 cup
- french style green beans - 3 - 14.5 ounce cans
- shredded cheddar cheese - 2 cups
- butter flavored crackers, crushed - 1/2 cup
- butter, melted - 1 T
Instructions:
In a skillet, melt 2 T butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth, cook for 1 minute. Stir in salt, sugar, onion and sour cream. Add green beans, stir to coat.
Pour mixture in a 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. sprinkle cheese over the top. In a small dish, toss together cracker crumbs and 1 T butter, sprinkle over the cheese. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden.
