Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus
Ingredients:
- asparagus - 12 spears
- prosciutto - 6 slices
Instructions:
Wash asparagus and cut off the bottom end. Cut prosciutto lengthways into two halves, you will have 12 strips.
At a 45 degree angle tightly wrap prosciutto's strips around asparagus spears. Starting with the top of the asparagus (leave head of asparagus exposed). Don’t worry if asparagus is not completely covered.
Heat oil in a frying pan to sizzling hot. Fry asparagus spears for 1 - 2 minutes on each side or until prosciutto is brown and crispy.
