Rueben Salad
Ingredients:
- Lettuce - 6 cups (torn)
- Onion - 1/4 cup (chopped)
- Sauerkraut - 1 1/2 cups (drained)
- Corn Beef - 2 - 3 oz pkgs. (cut in chunks)
- Dill Pickles - 1/3 cup (chopped)
- Grated Swiss Cheese - 1 1/4 cup
- Rye Bread - 2 slices (toasted, buttered & cut into cubes)
- Dressing
- Sour Cream - 1 cup
- Chili Sauce - 1/4 cup
- Sugar - 1 T
- Salt - 1/2 tsp.
- Dill Weed - 1/2 tsp.
Instructions:
Spread 1/2 of the lettuce in 9 x 12 pan. Layer other ingredients in order given. Cover with other half of lettuce, then rye bread. Cover and chill 2 hours. Spoon dressing over salad just before serving.
